The X4-DE-UN contains the diode array and its electronics as well as the electronics for the integral detectors. Both units are remote controlled via the USB interface. The diode array spectrometer in a compact Czerny Turner design is equipped with a 2048 pixel CCD array. A SMA fiber optic input with collimating, focusing mirror and diffractional grating enable low light level and high resolution light measurement. A flexible light guide connects the diode array spectrometer to the BTS detector head. The integral detector electronics consists of a high sensitivity analog amplifier with switchable gain over a 0.1-100pA to 0.2-200µA measurement range. The 3 ms rise time allows peakvalue data logging for short term mode measurements of LEDs. A remote controlled switch at the signal input permits operation of up to four detectors in multiplexing mode. The X4-DE-UN in combination with the X4-BTS detector head is the right tool for general purpose light analysis. In combination with optional light source amplifiers, stepping motor controller and peltier temperature controller the X4-DE-UN forms the basis for a light source controller set-up for complete control and analysis of discharge and incandescent lamps as well as for LEDs, OLEDs and flat panel displays. Windows based software is supplied with the X4-DE light analyzer which enables stand alone use as well as system integration. System integration is supported by the DLL based structure. The X4-DE-UN is offered in either a bench-top or rack-mount housing. |
