Measurement of luminous (cd) and radiant (W/sr) intensity can be made with illuminance (irradiance) detectors since luminous (radiant) intensity is related to illuminance (irradiance) by the inverse square law (I = E · d²), assuming a point source configuration.
LED average Luminous & Radiant Intensity can be measured with our PD-9304 (Si Photodiode) equipped with a PD-9311 (0.01 sr solid angle front tube - CIE 127 Condition B) or a PD-9312 (0.001 sr solid angle font tube - CIE 127 Condition A) and either the PD-9302-VL photopic or PD-9302-RW radiometric filter.
