The UMPA-1.0-FAO can be used as a holder for mounting components. Its unique feature is its optical axis which is normally oriented towards the sphere center but can be directed elsewhere within the sphere. The universal port adapter is made of aluminum and can be subsequently readjusted. The necessary modifications can be made either by the user or offered as a service by Gigahertz-Optik.
