VL-3708 Luminance Sensor: Precision Spot Measurements with CIE V(λ) Accuracy

Germany – June 2025 – The VL-3708 irradiance detector from Gigahertz Optik GmbH opens doors for high-precision irradiance measurement in laboratory and industrial environments. Designed for applications that demand accurate class L measurements of photometric irradiance, the VL-3708 is a highest class solution with perfect adaption of the V(lamba) curve: Class L.

High Accuracy Irradiance Measurement

The VL-3708 is engineered to measure irradiance in lx using cosine diffusor. The sensor is optically corrected to match the CIE V(λ) photopic response in class L quality, ensuring compliance with international photometric standards.

As part of Gigahertz-Optik’s modular measurement platform, the VL-3708 integrates seamlessly with a variety of optometers, such as the X1 or P-9710 series, offering analog or digital output depending on system requirements. A full set of mounting and alignment accessories is available for repeatable positioning in laboratory or production setups.

All VL-3708 sensors are individually calibrated in Gigahertz-Optik’s ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration laboratory, ensuring reliable and traceable measurement performance.
