Spectroradiometer for Measuring Natural and Artificial Solar Radiation

UV-visible-NIR spectroradiometers with accessories for measuring solar radiation - natural daylight and solar simulators

The precise measurement of natural solar radiation is an important requirement for atmospheric research like for instance the measurement of the Total Ozone Column (TOC) and the determination of UV index. Additionally, renewable energy research and the use of artificial sources such as solar simulators require accurate optical radiation measurement data.

For these types of measurements, very high demands are placed on the measurement systems. In addition to the immensely important reliability, since the measurement locations are often difficult to reach or rarely visited, an enormously wide temperature range, stability of the calibration (absolute as well as wavelength) and highest precision in general are the basic requirements.

We have been an active partner of the solar community since 1986 as both a manufacturer of measuring instruments and a service provider.

Our high level in the field of solar measurements is also demonstrated by scientific publications that have received worldwide attention.
